EPHRATA EARLY HEAD START CENTER

 

FSGC offers a Home Based program at our Early Head Start Center in Ephrata at 246 8th Avenue South West.

 

Children and their parents participate in four educational home visits per month from trained home visitors, who work with parents and children together.

 

Below is a photograph of the Ephrata classroom used for socialization activities two times per month. In Early Head Start classrooms children practice doing many things themselves. This gives the children the self help skills they need to become independent. On the right is a picture of children who are learning to pass food and serve themselves in a family style meal.
