EPHRATA EARLY HEAD START CENTER

 

FSGC offers a part day toddler program in Ephrata in a modular building next to the Saint Rose of Lima Catholic School on Nat Washington Way.

 

Toddlers receive part day classes two days per week for four hours.  Families of enrolled toddlers participate in two educational home visits per month from trained home visitors, who work with parents and children together.

 

Below is a photograph of the Ephrata EHS classroom. In Early Head Start classrooms children practice doing many things themselves. This gives the children the self help skills they need to become independent. On the right is a picture of children who are learning to pass food and serve themselves in a family style meal.
