About Family Planning

Family Planning has been located in Grant County since 1973 and serves over 1500 men and women each year. There are many women in Grant County who would have no health care at all if they could not get their annual exams at Family Planning.

A large population of undocumented, monolingual, Spanish speaking women who work in the fields of Grant County are not eligible for any other health care.  No patient is ever turned away because of inability to pay.

Major services include:

	Annual exams for women including pap and breast exams
	Sexually transmitted disease detection and treatment
	Pregnancy testing and all options pregnancy counseling
	Community education
	Birth control
	Medical referrals
	Health services for Head Start children
	Health services for FSGC staff
